She had to get fresh air somehow. The cloud of gloom that had settled over the CCG today was suffocating her. There were times when Akira had a hard time realizing that not everyone could hide their emotions as well as she could; not everyone could keep on living their lives in place of those who could not. This was one of those times.

Leaning over the railing, she watches the city below. She has to wonder how many people are going to visit their fathers. How many people don’t want to? How many people, like herself, can’t?

But from what he had heard, he was genius with intuition only matched by his own daughter. & that he had lost his marbles. He momentarily wondered if it would be appropriate to tell her, his reverie cut off by her words. He found it amusing that she didn’t want to bother him. A chuckle fell from his lips, accompanied by a shake of his ( albino ) crown.
